A very high quality 18th Century Walnut Chest of Drawers with two short and three long oak lined featherbanded drawer fronts. Quarter veneer top with inset featherbanding, crossbanding, cross-grained mouldings to the front and base flanked by reeded column pilasters, panelled oak sides with original solid brass fitting and escutcheons on bracket feet. (The top middle escutcheon is marked with the date: 1769)
