A very high quality 19th Century Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport with a sloping green leather writing surface and working key. Burr Walnut interior inside with two drawers and four pigeons holes. Above, the lift up top has compartments with ink well and pen tray inside.
The right hand side of the davenport has 4 cedar wood line drawers and to the left hand side there are 4 dummy drawers, all with turned wooden knobs. The davenport stands on a plinth with brass castors.
